I had the honor to be “Principal for a Day” at my alma mater earlier this month, Bubbling Wells Elementary School.
The PSUSD does “Principal for a Day” every year, where each school selects a member of their community to see behind the scenes of what a principal’s job entails.
Bubbling Wells’ principal, Mr. Tinoco, was very welcoming. He took me for a tour of the school, to visit various classrooms and see the new education technology used.
I was very surprised at how detailed the student’s questions were!
I was asked if I lived in the white house, to which I responded “No, I live in a normal house just like everyone else”.
The students even asked questions about development. I was asked about the progress of Walmart and what the steps were in order to have a GameStop come to town.
This was such a wonderful experience. Thank your Mr. Tinoco for all your do, the school is in wonderful hands under your leadership!
